If you can visit only a single place to eat in Malmø, then make it this one. Tiny place with small selection of dishes, but the food is simply amazing, made with love and as beautiful to look at as it is to eat. Absolutely to be recommended.

It is an amazing restaurant and food experience in the center of Malmö and made immediately in the top 5 of my favorite restaurants.
Located at one of the entry corners at Lilla Torg you might expect another tourist trap, but you couldn't be more mistaken. Osaka has a small but delicious menu! The outside area is made in a Japanese style and the staff is super friendly.
We tried 3 different dishes and all were amazing and very well presented in the bowls!
We were quite hungry, and I didn't get super full which is totally fine considering the price.

Absolutely wonderful food and lovely staff. We got a mixture of dishes and everything was amazing- my son said the soy sauce was the best he ever tasted. No photos because we ate everything!

We ordered Bibimbap with beef and chicken, and we ordered a chicken curry. Both were rich in taste and felt like such a comfort food. I’ll definitely come back whenever I feel for a stable dish that will comfort me, especially in such a cozy atmosphere. I would just love to see some non-alcoholic Asian drink options. (they also offered everyone there to try their chicken sushi which was really nice)

The food here was absolutely amazing and everyone in my family shares the same sentiment. The menu is very small, offering maybe 7-8 different things max but we all ended up ordering something different. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and the portions were plenty big. During our whole trip in Sweden/Denmark this ranked as some of the best food we had.

The food in this place is amazing, delicious and full of flavors. There a few varieties like bowls, curry and vege options. The portion is big and with reasonable price. Staff is friendly and the ambient is relaxing and welcoming. The best thing is that it is right in the center of the town. Definitely worth the visit

Amazing food & the staff were incredible. So helpful & couldn’t do more for me. Explained everything on the menu and recommended some lovely food. Also a great price in expensive Malmo !

Very nice! I like the kindness you meet when ordering, food was presented well, very nice touch of free miso soup that the waitress gave. Fish was fresh and rice was perfect! Absolutely recommend if you want a nice calm place for good sushi!

Happy that you liked the free miso soup. However we do not serve any soups at Osaka, only salads and bowls. So you must have mistake our place with someone else.
Very tasty food. Extremely caring and friendly staff. We had a Tofu Bibimbap, Pulled Beef noodles and the honey fried tofu. Prices are more than decent by Swedish standards. You should definitely try this place!

Osaka is a great little eatery. A mix of Japanese, Korean and other dishes. The prices are reasonable and the food is spectacularly good. Service is friendly and it is obvious the owner takes great pride in his food and service. The restaurant has a cozy feel about it much like the Shokudo you find in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, really good bibimbap with a little touch of mayo. Tala our waitress was really nice, we had an extra rice for free! The ginger tea was also nice (also for free…)! Thanks again for the team! Highly recommended.

I ate there for the second time, after 2 years, because I remembered how much I loved it first time. This time I just confirmed to myself that I remembered it for a reason. It's still one of the best places in Malmö.

I was at this cute little cosy restaurant a few days ago looking for some cultural food. it was very nice and comfortable with a nice vibe. the food was amazing and i spoke with a nice little girl with a braid in her hair. Though i spoke another older woman wearing glasses and she was being very weird and had a rude attitude towards me while i was paying for the food
